The Vatican loves 007

Like all red-blooded American males who grew up on James Bond movies since pre-puberty, I look forward to the latest Bond film. It comes out Nov. 9.
Here's something you probably didn't know. Guess who gives "Skyfall" a big thumbs up? None other that the movie critic for the Vatican's L'Osservatore. Gaetano Vallini is the film critic for the Vatican. He says the film is filled with “adrenalin pumping action, amazing hyper-realistic chases, exotic locations, extremely beautiful Bond girls, the usual super villain, and the essential vodka martini.”
And for my Catholic buddies out there, the Vat's critic also gives Mr. Bond kudos for being “less attracted to the pleasures of life, darker and more introspective… more human, even able to be moved and to cry.”
No word on whether 007 goes to confession, or not. But there are sins, death and resurrection. This looks like it's gonna be a good one.
But don't take the Vatican's word on this, Rotten Tomatoes is excited too.
