Worth a Drive
Centennial indie musician Bobby Meader plans a release party for his new album "We Are the Blues We Write" from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday at Money Plays, 4755 W. Flamingo Road, Suite G. Around 300 visitors are expected for this year's Pioneer Day scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. The park plans to offer pioneer activities throughout the day, including candle dipping, needlework and dancing. Fiddlers also are scheduled to perform.
