The 16th annual Bite of Las Vegas food and music festival is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Desert Breeze Park, 8275 Spring Mountain Road. Cocktails & Canvas, a live collaborative art event, is planned at
5:45 p.m. Saturday at Loftworks, 6405 S. Tenaya Way. All proceeds are to benefit the charity New Vista. Sixteen artists are set to collaborate on 13 original works on everything from canvas to a hybrid sports car donated by Gaudin Fisker of Las Vegas. Vizzun Entertainment has announced its Pure Aloha Fall Festival is set from Oct. 11-14 at the Rio, 3700 W. Flamingo Road. The event features a Hawaiian festival and concert series with more than 100 craft and merchandise booths, food vendors and amusement rides. General admission tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the event gate. Discounted admission for seniors 55 or older, military with ID and children 5 to 10 is $6.
