Three eliminated, Main Event down to 24 players

We’re 90 minutes into Saturday’s action at the World Series of Poker’s Main Event and three players have hit the rail.

There are 24 players still seeing a seat at the final table of nine in the $10,000 buy-in No Limit Hold’em World Championship event at the Rio.

Mads Wissing of Denmark, finished in 25th place, Matthew Bucaric of Knoxville, Tenn., placed 26th while Johnny Lodden of Norway was the first player eliminated today in 27th place.

But don’t feel too bad for the players; they will each earn $317,161.
