Tierra Este features single-story homes

Home buyers have new purchasing opportunities at William Lyon Homes' Tierra Este, a recently opened single-story community featuring the same floor plans that buyers embraced at nearby La Tierra in North Las Vegas.

"The home designs were a huge hit at La Tierra. Buyers are thrilled when they realize we're responding to popular demand and continuing the collection just down the way at Tierra Este," sales agent Tammy Temple said. A cul de sac of 22 home sites, Tierra Este offers four single-story floor plans. Home plans range from 1,718 to 2,419 square feet with three, four or five bedrooms and up to three baths.

Structural variations, based on plan, allow for a den, dining room, courtyard, multiple fireplaces, kitchen desk and bay window extensions.

Every residence comes with a two-car garage with the exception of Plan Four, which can be built with three garage bays. Temple said most of Tierra Este's home sites exceed 6,700 square feet; half of them stretch beyond 7,000 square feet.

"People get really excited when I show them the community site map. Our research shows that buyers want single-story homes, big lots and a cozy community setting without through traffic," Temple said. "Tierra Este delivers on all levels."

Within each residence, home buyers will discover standard architectural details like 9-foot-high ceilings, a walk-in closet at the master suite, decorative plant shelves and art niches. Each open, airy home has a country kitchen complemented by a great room or formal room configuration. Some kitchens include an island.

An interior laundry with a gas dryer connection is standard. Other interior highlights include raised-panel doors with satin chrome levers, programmable thermostats and ceramic tile entries.

The lighting package includes a mix of designer-selected fixtures and custom recessed lighting. Master baths feature oval garden tubs with cultured marble surrounds and separate cultured marble shower stalls.

William Lyon Homes offers a variety of customizing opportunities, everything from cabinets and tubs in the laundry room to spa jets for the master tub to a security alarm system.

Temple said the first move-ins are planned for the end of this year.

"We encourage buyers to visit quickly since the window is still open for selecting interior finishes. People love to put their own flair into their homes. Now is the ideal time to purchase in our first phase," she said.

Prices start in the upper $200,000s.

Tierra Este offers convenient access to major routes such as Interstate 15 and U.S. Highway 95. Craig Ranch Golf Course is located just minutes from the community.
