Toll Brothers offering luxury homes for less than $1 million

Toll Brothers is offering MacDonald Highlands -- The Retreat, with prices beginning at under $1 million.

MacDonald Highlands is an upscale, private golf community in Henderson.

Toll Brothers is nearing completion of the staff-gated new home community within the 1,200-acre MacDonald Highlands master plan. At press time, only six home sites, two quick-delivery homes and the Vercelli fully furnished, decorated model home remained available for purchase.

Nearly every home site at The Retreat has views of the DragonRidge golf course, surrounding mountains and the Las Vegas Strip. In addition to world-class golf, the DragonRidge Clubhouse features a spa and fitness center with amenities, including locker rooms, comfortable lounges and meeting facilities. Social membership is included in the purchase price of homes at The Retreat.

Five one- and two-story floor plans range from 3,481 to more than 5,000 square feet, priced from the high $900,000s.

Semi-custom homes feature architectural and design details such as entry courtyards, towering turret foyers, formal living rooms with coffered ceilings, Jacuzzi tubs in master baths, elegant dining rooms and kitchens with breakfast areas.

The 5,068-square-foot fully furnished Vercelli model home has four bedrooms, 51/2 baths and includes a casita. The turret entry tower opens to a private courtyard. Upstairs, a retreat features an opulent bath with his-and-hers walk-in closets. This finished, completely decorated model is priced at $1.7 million.

In addition, two quick-delivery "already built," but unfurnished Toll Brothers homes are available. Quick-delivery homes include the two-story, 4,863-square-foot Brindisi plan with a Tuscan exterior architectural style and the Modena two-story, 5,284-square-foot plan with a Versailles exterior architectural style.

To reach The Retreat, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Valle Verde Drive. Travel south to the community gates where the guards will direct you to the models.
