Top Dem strategist: Reid finished; Boxer too close to call

Democratic strategist Doug Schoen sayeth this according to Newsmax.com:
"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is likely finished. He was never a top vote getter and with the housing market in collapse in Nevada, he’s likely to go down at the hands of Republicans Danny Tarkanian or former state Sen. Sue Lowden."
He also says Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Ca., is in a fight that currently is too close to call.
It's hard to imagine Boxer losing in California, but wouldn't that be an absolute windfall for private sector advocates everywhere? As for the race in Nevada, Democrats have every reason to fear U.S. Sen. Sue Lowden and/or U.S. Sen. Danny Tarkanian (which sounds better to you?) but Dems ought not forget about pesky Sharron Angle. Polls show her beating Reid, too, and she has enough of a conservative constituency that she can't be automatically counted out of a Republican primary in which bedrock conservative values will be top of mind.
