Add to the lengthy list of household uses for yesterday’s newspaper: Stopping leaking radioactive water from a tsunami-damaged nuclear power plant.

According to the UK’s Guardian, a newspaper, engineers stopped a leak from Japan's Fukushima nuclear power plant by using “a mixture of sawdust, newspaper, concrete and a type of liquid glass.”
