Tuscan Cliffs aims for entertaining homes
December 8, 2007 - 10:00 pm
As winter falls over the desert, Tuscan Cliffs residents enjoy indoor-outdoor living all year long.
"Tuscan Cliffs offers the perfect homes for entertaining during the holidays," sales agent Rob Evon said. "Because we have nearly 5,000 ways to customize each home, they truly are a reflection of their owners and entertainment areas are among the most popular features we have."
Four model homes showcase the neighborhood's designs.
According to Evon, the Villa de Giovanni's 1,100-square-foot game room has been one of the most popular entertainment venues at the Southern Highlands development.
"The game room is an option in this model that, as we show it, includes a media alcove with surround sound and oversized flat-screen television, a custom poker table, a putting green, a fully equipped bar with seating and a conversation area near the balcony," he said. "It is the perfect place for holiday parties with children or those who enjoy games."
Another feature at Tuscan Cliffs is the wine grotto, featured in its Villa de Rafael model. In this home, the lower level of the casita is a wine grotto, complete with a wine cellar and tables for tasting.
Kitchens at Tuscan Cliffs are often the centerpiece of the home and designed to comply with Pacific Southwest Development's indoor-outdoor living philosophy, Evon said. The kitchens provide views of interior courtyards as well as outdoor kitchens and pools. Standard kitchens include 42-inch handcrafted maple cabinetry, granite kitchen countertops and islands, Viking stainless-steel appliances, Kohler cast-iron sinks with pull-out faucets, and walk-in pantries.
Three floor plans include interior courtyards.
"Interior courtyards provide a nice sitting area for guests to relax and unwind, and with water features or outdoor fireplaces they are even more peaceful," he said.
The homes range from 4,328 to 6,001 square feet. More than 50 configurations are available among the four base models. Each offers a master suite with a separate retreat, a rear patio, central courtyard and common areas.
The home sites measure at least one-quarter acre.
Standard amenities include paverstone driveways, sand-finished stucco exteriors, stainless-steel appliances, exterior stone veneer, 42-inch maple cabinets, granite countertops, 6-foot garden tubs, wood-clad Andersen windows and Kohler plumbing fixtures. Pacific Southwest also recently added stainless-steel Viking appliances, wrought-iron stair railings, and granite counters and vanities as standard features.
All homes include outdoor kitchens and disappearing glass doors, which allow residents to link internal and external areas seamlessly, Evon said.
Each residence also qualifies as an Energy Star home.
Base prices start at just over $1 million.
Residents will receive a one-year social membership to the Southern Highlands Golf Club, upon application approval, Evon said. The club includes a social calendar, spa and resort-style swimming pool.
To visit, take Interstate 15 to the St. Rose Parkway exit and go west. Drive north on Southern Highlands Parkway and proceed to Stonewater Lane, then turn left and follow the signs.
The sales office is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Monday when it opens at 1 p.m. For more information, call 228-8559.
