Tuscan Cliffs dresses with Bloomingdale’s in event
Tuscan Cliffs, a neighborhood of customizable estate homes in a guard-gated setting within Southern Highlands, will hold its grand opening today and Sunday, launching tours and sales with a reception, hors d'oeuvres and a showcase presentation by Bloomingdale's department store.
While the models have been open for viewing for several months, Pacific Southwest Development has held off the opening celebration, according to Gerri Evans, a principal with the company, in order to highlight the indoor-outdoor living possibilities of the home designs while the weather is warm, as well as to await completion of the neighborhood's guardhouse, gates and first residences.
"Tuscan Cliffs offers homes with a luxurious resort-like lifestyle," Evans said, "allowing residents to open their living rooms and kitchens to the outdoors, extending their living areas onto their courtyards and rear patios.
"At the grand opening, every residence will host its own party with its own entertainment, including a strolling guitarist in one model home, a Hawaiian group in another, a jazz band in yet another and a harpist in the last. Each will set the tone for the tranquil, integrated living we offer and give guests a true taste of what life is like at Tuscan Cliffs."
The presentation by Bloomingdale's, planned for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, will showcase items from the store's exclusive departments. Evans said the cross-promotion is a perfect fit for the neighborhood.
"It is a pleasure to partner with Bloomingdale's on the Tuscan Cliffs grand opening. They have a long- standing reputation for quality goods and a high level of customer service, the same hallmarks of our own business," she said.
A total of 155 luxury estate homes are planned with each home site measuring at least one-quarter acre. Premium lots, including some measuring half an acre, and others built into the hillsides, are also available.
In their base configurations, floor plans range from 4,328 to 5,441 square feet. Various design options can bring the homes to 6,000 square feet. Each home is designed for a high level of customization, allowing residents to add a range of architecturally designed spaces and features.
Standard amenities include paverstone driveways, sand-finished stucco exteriors, stainless steel appliances, exterior stone veneer, 42-inch maple cabinets, granite countertops, 6-foot garden tubs, wood-clad Andersen windows, Kohler plumbing fixtures and structured wiring systems. Numerous options are available for nearly every aspect of the home, including structured wiring systems and media networks, swimming pools, as well as decorator touches throughout.
In addition, each residence qualifies as an Energy Star home, saving owners on their heating and cooling expenses while providing a quieter, more environmentally friendly home.
Base prices range from $1.05 million to $1.25 million.
To visit, take Interstate 15 to the St. Rose Parkway exit and go west. Drive north on Southern Highlands Parkway and proceed to Stonewater Lane, then turn left and follow the signs.
