Tuscan Cliffs promotes ‘integrated living’ with functional courtyards
Pacific Southwest Development makes it easy for home buyers at Tuscan Cliffs to utilize and enjoy their courtyards and outdoor summer kitchens, through its "integrated living" design concept, according to sales agent Rob Evon.
"The idea of 'integrated living' is to unite the inside and the outside areas of the home and incorporate them as one," Evon said. "The result is increased living space and versatility that allow your courtyards and patio to be enjoyed throughout the year."
The guard-gated development is located in the prestigious mountainside Southern Highlands community. Four two-story floor plans are available, ranging from 4,328 to 5,441 square feet. Various design options, such as one- and two-story casitas, game rooms, bonus rooms and home theaters, can enlarge the homes to 6,000 square feet.
All the homes are built on lots measuring at least one-quarter acre.
"Most of the time, courtyards are seldom used," Evon said. "However, the floor plans at Tuscan Cliffs are designed with such functional and inviting courtyards that they become the most used areas of the home."
"In addition, each floor plan includes disappearing glass doors that allow the patio to become an extension of the family or living area." These glass doors effectively allow the homeowners to make a wall disappear, so their family room and covered patio can become one continuous space."
The builder offers numerous options to allow buyers to personalize outdoor areas according to their needs and entertaining preferences. They include outdoor fireplaces, water features, balconies, lighting, radiant heaters and electronics.
"We like to show visitors the possibilities," Evon said. "Our models show off some of what can be done, but each one is available in 15 to 20 unique floor-plan configurations alone, so we like to walk visitors through the models and give them a sense of the possibilities."
A total of 155 semi-custom homes will be built in the Tuscan-style development.
Standard amenities include enhanced driveway finishes, sand-finished stucco exteriors, stainless steel appliances, exterior stone veneer, 42-inch maple cabinets, granite countertops, 6-foot garden tubs, wood-clad Andersen windows and Kohler plumbing fixtures.
All of the homes include summer kitchens and disappearing glass doors.
In addition, each residence qualifies as an Energy Star home, saving owners on heating and cooling expenses.
Base prices start at just over $1 million for Tuscan Cliffs.
