Tuscan Cliffs to open park

Pacific Southwest Development's semi-custom estate neighborhood, Tuscan Cliffs at Southern Highlands, has announced plans for a 20-acre sports park to open next year

The site is located between Stonewater Lane and Starr Hills Avenue within the Southern Highlands community and includes land for an elementary and middle school.

"The sports park will be perfect for runners, dog walkers, ball players and families, and will be a major addition to the Tuscan Cliffs lifestyle," said Kristi Kramer, vice president of Pacific Southwest Development.

The park will feature walking trails, four lighted baseball fields, two practice fields, four lighted soccer fields, shaded spectator areas and two lighted picnic and playground areas. The elevated parcel overlooks the Las Vegas Valley from a site adjacent to foothills.

Tuscan Cliffs features Tuscan-inspired luxury estates on lots measuring one-quarter acre and larger. Premium home sites, including mountainside parcels in future phases, are available.

Models are open at the all-two-story, gated neighborhood. Floor plans range from 4,328 to 5,441 square feet. Various design options can bring the homes to 6,000 square feet.

Standard amenities include paver stone driveways, sand-finished stucco exteriors, stainless steel appliances, 42-inch maple cabinets, granite countertops, 6-foot garden tubs, wood-clad Anderson windows, Kohler plumbing fixtures and structured wiring systems. The homes qualify as Energy Star homes. Base prices range from $1.04 million to $1.25 million.

Kramer said her company will pay one year of dues for a social membership to Southern Highlands Golf Club with the purchase of a new home at Tuscan Cliffs. Membership is subject to application approval.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to just south of the St. Rose Parkway exit and follow the turn around to Southern Highlands Parkway. Proceed to Stonewater Lane, then turn left and follow the signs. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when it opens at 1 p.m. For more information, call 228-8559.
