Tuscan Cliffs touts Gabriella model in Southern Highlands
March 9, 2008 - 9:00 pm
A sweeping entrance invites guests into one of Tuscan Cliffs' model homes, Villa de Gabriella. This semi-custom estate in Southern Highlands can be architecturally designed up to nearly 6,000 square feet and up to seven bedrooms. The home designs also provide a home theater, office, bonus room and loft.
The floor plan starts at 5,441 square feet with five bedrooms, 41/2 baths, an entry gallery with a curved staircase, kitchen with butler's pantry, library, master suite with separate retreat, loft, oversized storage closets, bonus room and a three-car tandem garage.
"The Villa de Gabriella is shown with several of our customized options that make it a truly interesting home," Tuscan Cliffs sales agent Michael Goeth said. "Among its most popular features are the home theater and the indoor-outdoor living designs, which include front and interior courtyards as well as a sweeping rear patio."
Tuscan Cliffs residents can view movies in a complete home theater at the Villa de Gabriella. It features multi-level theater seating, a theater-quality sound system and wall-size screen. Media rooms are also featured in all floor plans and can be designed with Kaleidoscape, a server-based system that stores thousands of music and movie files.
Known for its indoor-outdoor living philosophy, Tuscan Cliffs uses water features in the front and interior courtyards at the Villa de Gabriella.
"Interior courtyards provide a nice sitting area for guests to relax and unwind, and with water features or outdoor fireplaces they are even more peaceful," Goeth said. "For those who like to entertain, the interior courtyards also provide a unique location for conversation."
In the rear yard, natural stone is used to surround the pool and spa, while faux stone boulders complete the look.
"This is one of our most popular water features at Tuscan Cliffs," Goeth said. "There is a wading pool at one end, a lagoon near the middle and a beautiful backdrop for the spa at the far end."
The natural stone look is continued with a slide above a grotto underwater enclave near the spa.
"This pool even has a swim-up bar with stools inside the pool," Goeth said. "A bar area with the same natural stone countertop completes the effect and offers a great entertaining venue. All of these elements combine to create a dramatic and visually interesting effect."
Every home in the community is offered with an outdoor kitchen. Each outdoor kitchen at Tuscan Cliffs includes a grill, refrigerator and granite countertops.
"And depending on the home they may include a sink, cabinets, condiment station and kegerator," Goeth said. "They are a feature of any luxury residence and useful throughout the year."
Tuscan Cliffs' four model homes showcase the developer's range of technological capabilities. Ranging in size from 4,328 to 6,001 square feet, the semi-custom homes provide the ability to design a custom home without the inconveniences and delays associated with custom home building.
More than 50 configurations are available among the four base models. Each offers a master suite with a separate retreat, extensive rear patio and central courtyard.
All Tuscan Cliffs home sites measure at least one-quarter acre. Premium lots, including some with valley views and others that are oversized, are available.
Among thousands of available options at every home are home theater systems, elevators, wine cellars and grottos, custom ceiling treatments, swimming pools, outdoor fireplaces and water features.
In addition, each residence qualifies as an Energy Star home, saving owners on heating and cooling expenses while providing quieter, more environmentally friendly homes.
Base prices start at just over $1 million.
Residents will receive a one-year social membership to the Southern Highlands Golf Club, upon application approval, Goeth said. The club includes a social calendar, spa, swimming pool and other facilities.
To visit, take Interstate 15 to the St. Rose Parkway exit and go west. Drive north on Southern Highlands Parkway and proceed to Stonewater Lane, then turn left and follow the signs.
