Wednesday is shaping up to be one of the trendiest days on record for Valley residents-turned-reality TV stars.
Henderson’s Brittany Rubalcaba will begin her quest to be named “America’s Next Top Model” (8 p.m., KVCW-TV, Channel 33) while Las Vegan Teresa Keegan will try to show she’s got what it takes to win “Top Design” (10 p.m. Bravo).
Rubalcaba, 19, is one of 14 models competing for a contract to be managed by Elite Model Management, a $100,000 CoverGirl contract and the cover shot and six-page fashion spread in Seventeen magazine.
“African-American women are not really shown around Vegas,” she says of the local modeling scene in the premiere, “and I wanted to show Las Vegas ‘Hello, I am here!’ ”
Keegan, 35, also will be competing for $100,000 as one of 13 contestants in the interior design competition.
The Tulsa, Okla., native owns her own Las Vegas-based firm, Keegan Designs, and has previous TV experience as one of the hosts of the WE series “She House.”
