Urban lands new job

Readers of the Political Eye who may have done business with Heather Urban over the years might like to know she has landed a new job in Washington as legislative director for freshman Sen. Mark Udall, D-Colo.

Urban, 34, formerly was legislative director to Rep. Shelley Berkley, and then to Sen. Harry Reid.

She ran Tessa Hafen's campaign for the House against Rep. Jon Porter in 2006, and was managing Robert Daskas's bid to unseat Porter until Daskas suddenly dropped out mid-race last year.
