VIEW TUBE: Mike Graves Trio strikes a chord

The Mike Graves Trio will bring its unique sound to Water Street on May 9 and 23.
The Rock 'n' Roll band pulls from rockabilly, jazz and Delta blues musicians of the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s.
The Mike Graves Trio's playlist is made up of popular and unknown songs by John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Reed, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Howlin' Wolf, Willie Dixon, Bill Haley and the Comets and Little Walter.
Graves, who started the band, is the lead singer, drummer and songwriter. Ed Petitti, who plays guitar, saxophone and sings lead vocal, and Trevor Davis, who plays stand up bass, electric bass and sings, round out the trio.
The Mike Graves Trio will hit the stage at 8 p.m. May 9 and May 23 at the Eldorado Casino, 140 S. Water St.
