WH, DOJ, colluded to block real reporting

The Obama Administration (aka most transparent administration — evah) was forced to turn over to Judicial Watch a boatload of documents related to the Fast and Furious scandal.

In the stack came an email that ought to make every respectable journalist in America hopping mad.

In an email dated Oct. 4, 2011, the press aide for Attorney General Eric Holder wrote the White House deputy press secretary. He called Sharyl Attkison of CBS News “out of control.” At the time, she was about the only mainstream reporter delving into the scandal. Her reporting was embarrassing the administration.

He said that he was going to call CBS executives to stop her.

Here’s a story about how they were able to do that, freezing out Attkison from access while giving another friendly reporter leaked information.

Pretty disgusting stuff.
