Sales are under way at Entrata in the master-planned golf community of Mountain Falls, located in Pahrump 45 miles west of the Strip, according to Linda Kemper, vice president of sales and marketing for William Lyon Homes.
Entrata is William Lyon Homes' fourth collection of single-story homes at Mountain Falls, joining Cascata Ancora, Tramonto and Bella Sera.
"The positive feedback we're receiving on the brand-new plans at Entrata is exceeding our expectations," Kemper said. "Just two weeks after opening the models, all arrows point toward big success for the community."
Kemper said she worked with William Lyon Homes' architects and management team to develop a single-story community aligned with market needs.
"The plans bear all the marks of our award-winning home designs, yet they look and feel entirely unique. We place a great deal of emphasis on forward planning -- predicting buyers' needs and wants before we build -- and it's evident at Entrata. We can't wait for people to see what's in store for them," she said.
Entrata features three floor plans, each offering three exterior elevations. Buyers can select from home sites that accommodate two- or three-car garages. Prices start at $177,000.
At 1,157 square feet, Plan One has two bedrooms, two baths and a great room. The residence features an interior laundry area, linen closet, coat closet, pantry and covered front porch. Buyers can opt for a covered patio, garage service door and bay windows on the master bedroom.
Plan Two has two bedrooms, two baths, a den, great room and covered front porch in 1,376 square feet. The home features an island and pantry in the kitchen, walk-in closet, coat closet and interior laundry room. Buyers can opt for a third bedroom in lieu of the den.
Structural options include a garage service door, covered patio off the great room or extended covered patio that spans the width of the home.
Buyers can opt for bay windows or a glass sliding door for the master bedroom. The home can be built with a front courtyard wall and entry gate.
With 1,571 square feet of living space, Plan Three features three bedrooms, one of which can be constructed as a den, two baths, kitchen overlooking the front yard, great room and interior laundry room with optional sink.
The master bath includes a sit-down vanity. Storage space is available in the home's pantry, linen and coat closets, walk-in master closet and secondary bedroom closets. Variations allow for a garage service door, front courtyard wall and gate, two covered patio options and bay windows or a glass sliding door at the master bedroom.
Standard interior features include 9-foot ceilings, custom recessed lighting and satin chrome lever doorknobs. Water and energy savers consist of dual-paned insulated windows, programmable thermostats and water-saver shower heads. Front-yard landscaping with automatic irrigation is included.
Presales are under way at three other Mountain Falls communities: Villa Serena and Villagio by Celebrate Homes and Tivoli by Desert Wind Homes. Model homes are expected to open shortly.
Between Villa Serena and Villagio, buyers can choose among six plans ranging from 1,609 to 2,513 square feet. Homes are priced from the low $200,000s.
Priced from the $200,000s, Tivoli's three home plans range from 1,938 to 2,097 square feet.
Classic Homes will debut new residences shortly.
Community amenities can be found alongside the 18-hole Mountain Falls Golf Club, which anchors the master plan. A Mediterranean-style clubhouse contains the Grill Room and a community resident facility. Highlights include a fitness center, resident lounge with a pool table and multi-purpose room.
An outdoor aquatic center offers a lap pool and Jacuzzi for adults, plus a family pool and splash pad with interactive water-play stations.
Dozens of neighborhood mini-parks and walking trails are in place with more planned. Homeowner association fees are less than $45 per month.
Pahrump's population has steadily grown in recent years, partly because of home affordability issues in Las Vegas. To visit, travel about 45 miles west from Interstate 15 on Highway 160 (Blue Diamond Road). Before reaching Pahrump, turn left on Manse Road. Proceed to Hafen Ranch and turn right, then left on Lakeview.
The Mountain Falls information center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. For more information, visit mountainfalls.com or call 866-468-3255.
