With friends like Nancy …

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi ("minority" has a nice ring to it, doesn't it) has announced she supports protestors in Wisconsin.

Given the mood of the people in Wisconsin who kicked Democrats out of control of the governor's seat and the state legislature, Pelosi's support will hurt more than help.

Postscript: Isn't it time Nevada begin to seriously apply a little Wisconsin cure to what ails public employee unions in Nevada? The Clark County firefighter sick leave abuse, for example, needs more than a few disciplinary notices. Obviously abuse of sick leave was not only rampant, but also condoned by management. If a fireman doesn't have the sense of duty not to honorably use sick leave (especially when regular leave is so very generous), they should be drummed out of the department. It's not like there are't honest citizens waiting for a good fireman job.
