Woodside Homes reports increase in visitors and sales this summer
August 29, 2009 - 9:00 pm
According to Mike Kearns, sales manager for Woodside Homes, Woodside neighborhoods across Southern Nevada have seen an upturn in visitor numbers and sales over the past few months. "Our sales have steadily increased over the past four months. We definitely believe new home sales are making a comeback in Las Vegas," he said.
Today and Sunday, Woodside Homes, builder of 11 Las Vegas collections, is offering $25 gift cards to everyone that stops by one of its sales offices and fills out a loan application with its preferred lender.
"From our communities at Providence in the Northwest to Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, we will give you $25 just for stopping in and filling out an application," Kerns said. "Our preferred lender is MetLife Home loans and their application process is quick and easy."
And for first-time homebuyers looking to qualify for the federal government's $8,000 tax credit, there are opportunities at Woodside Homes. "We have some quick-close homes available that will be completed by the Nov. 30 deadline for the $8,000 federal tax credit," Kearns said.
For information on the builder's homes available for immediate move-in, call Carol Gerenstein at 769-0820.
"Carol can provide information on all our available homes, so you can pick the ones you're interested in and visit them," Kearns said. "There is still plenty of time to pick your new home and finish the appropriate paperwork for it to move into your new home by Nov. 30."
Among Woodside's neighborhoods is Madison Colony at Providence in northwestern Las Vegas. Madison Colony is located in the Providence master plan and offers five floor plans starting in the $150,000s. The two-story homes offers up to four bedrooms and up to three baths.
"We have seen a steady increase in sales at Madison Colony over the past four months," said sales agent Marchelle Liguori. "Buyers are saying they are tired of looking at foreclosures that are destroyed, then being forced into a bidding war for them. They are finding that foreclosures are not as good of a deal as they once thought."
Madison Colony has become one of the builder's most popular collections, according to Liguori. "There are so many benefits to buying a new home," Liguori said. "You are able to pick the features and options that suit your tastes. And Woodside Homes' 10-year warranty is among the best warranty programs offered by a new home builder in Las Vegas."
Sales offices are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays. Madison Colony's sales office is located at 7821 Askew Place. To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Hualapai Road. Head north on Hualapai and west on Farm Road. Turn right on Egan Crest to Madison Colony.
