YOUR WEEKEND: Celebrate the season with movies, concerts
This weekend is Memorial Day, the unofficial start of summer. There's plenty of concerts and movies, many outdoors, set to celebrate the start of the season.
Henderson
Music on Main Street is back at The District at Green Valley Ranch, 2225 Village Walk Drive. Musicians will play from 6 to 10 p.m. May 22 and 23 at The Courtyard on Main Street.
May 22, Dangerous Hours, a Dave Matthews tribute band, will perform. On May 23, catch the Raj Rathor Quartet performing contemporary and classic jazz.
The District at Green Valley Ranch’s Outdoor Picture Show on The Green is back. Families are invited to pack a picnic and enjoy a free movie and popcorn throughout the summer. Shows start at 8 p.m. On May 22, catch “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” and on May 23 watch “Bedtime Stories.”
MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas is offering free concerts from 7 to 10 p.m. on Fridays on the lakeside lawn, 15 Costa di Lago. This week, the Wedge Brothers will perform.

Take in the dancing and music at a World Vibration Concert featuring Angel Gadzhev and his troupe of Bulgarian musicians and dancers at 2 p.m. on May 24 at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S.
