YOUR WEEKEND: Events to benefit Green Valley High School

Two upcoming events will benefit Green Valley High School.

Kevin Brekke, a junior at Green Valley High School, turned his family’s garage into a haunted house that he hopes will bring in funds for his school’s choir and theater departments. From 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 24, 30 and 31, Brekke will open his haunted house, 400 Crater Court, to the public for donations of $3 per person. All funds will go to Green Valley High School.

Green Valley High School’s choir department is hosting its second annual Fright Night Halloween carnival, which is open to the public from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 26 on campus, 460 N. Arroyo Grande Blvd. Cost to attend is $3, which includes 12 tickets for games, treats and a haunted house.
