YOUR WEEKEND: Jazz and brunch go together well

The VOX Wine Lounge in Henderson has an eclectic musical tradition, pairing gourmet cuisine with unplugged, live performances in genres from acid jazz to acoustic rock each weekend.

Now, the venue has unveiled a jazz-infused Sunday brunch, featuring a menu of feta and basil frittata, roasted chicken, chorizo and eggs, fresh scones, crepes, cinnamon buns and éclairs. This Sunday, guests may enjoy the jazz stylings of vocalist Paris Red, while watching classic cartoons from the 1970s.

The Sunday brunch also features a Champagne cart with $5 Mimosas and Bellinis. Brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. VOX is at 2630 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, near South Eastern Avenue.
