YOUR WEEKEND: ‘Jubilee!’ offers discounted tickets for locals

“Jubilee!” at Bally’s, one of the longest-running shows in Las Vegas history, will mark its 27th anniversary by offering $27 tickets to Nevada residents every night through Aug. 15.

Donn Arden’s production is a throwback to the days of the lavish Strip spectacular when the spotlight beamed on scores of leggy showgirls wearing rhinestone-clad costumes and feathery headdresses. A topless show for adults 18 and older, “Jubilee!” also features music, elaborate sets and specialty acts. “Jubilee!” made its debut at Bally’s on July 31, 1981, when the hotel still was known as the MGM Grand.

Nevada residents showing identification may buy up to four tickets for $27 each at the Bally’s box office, based on availability. “Jubilee!” is presented at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. Saturday through Thursday, dark Friday. Call the box office at 967-4567.
