YOUR WEEKEND: Mitch Albom to discuss new book at Temple Beth Sholom

Syndicated newspaper columnist and author Mitch Albom will visit Temple Beth Sholom, 10700 Havenwood Lane, to discuss his new book, "Have a Little Faith: A True Story," on Sunday, Oct. 25, with a VIP meet-and-greet set for 6 p.m. and an author program for 7 p.m.
Albom, who also wrote "Tuesdays with Morrie," which was later made into a television movie, will speak about his new book and how it opened his eyes as he ventured into the lives of two extraordinary men who used faith to conquer the odds, and were forever linked by an unforgettable story. The program will be presented by the Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada in cooperation with Temple Beth Sholom.

Access to the VIP meet-and-greet, an authographed book and premier seating for the author program are available as a package for a $100 donation. Reserved sanctuary seating for the author program is $54 for Jewish Community Center and Temple Beth Sholom members and is $60 for nonmembers. General admission for the author program is $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers.
