YOUR WEEKEND: Slice of paradise awaits golfers of all ages, skill levels

Golfers will find a little piece of heaven at Angel Park Golf Club this weekend, as Golf Fest Vegas kicks off on Friday, Feb. 19.

The event includes free lessons with PGA and LPGA professionals; free demonstrations of the latest equipment technology; a golf skills contest for prizes; and putting contests and raffles for golf equipment, tee times and golf vacations. There also will be a variety of live stage presentations and driving range exhibitions, with lessons specifically geared toward juniors, female and male golfers of all ages and skill levels.

All attendees of Golf Fest Vegas will receive a free round of golf at Angel Park Golf Club (a $15 cart fee and tee time restrictions apply) and a one-year subscription to Golf Digest magazine.

Golf Fest Vegas runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, and Sunday, Feb. 21. Admission is $10. Children under the age of 10 will be admitted for free.
