YOUR WEEKEND: Take your four-legged friends to a free pet fair

Bring your four-legged friends out to the Mirabelli Community Center, 6200 Hargrove Ave., for a free pet fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 22.

The city of Las Vegas Department of Detention and Enforcement, Animal Control Unit is hosting the fair. The event is being offered in conjunction with Clark County Animal Control; Lied Animal Shelter; Heaven Can Wait; Las Vegas Valley Humane Society and the Nevada S.P.C.A. and will feature:

•    Free food and drinks.
•    Free animal exams.
•    A dog obedience demonstration.
•    Free pet licenses for the first 30 pets (spayed/neutered pets only).
•    Free rabies vaccinations.
•    Sign-ups for free spay/neutering and to receive free microchip.
•    Raffle for free animal grooming.
