YOUR WEEKEND: TInoco’s Kitchen to host Shade Tree benefit

Art, music and food will mix at Art Fiasco at Tinoco's Kitchen inside Vegas Club, 18 Fremont St., on Saturday, April 4, for Art Fiasco, a benefit for The Shade Tree, 1 W. Owens Ave., and Miley Achievement Center, 245 N. Pecos Road.

The Shade Tree provides shelter for homeless and abused women and children in crisis. Miley Achievement Center is a public school that serves grades kindergarten through 12 in the Clark County School District.

Local artist, designer and celebrity photographer Carlo Roncancio and Heidi Holly are teaming up with the restaurant for the event, which will feature cocktails, dinner, performance art by illusionist Jackson Rayne, live rock and roll music by Vertigo Sky and an art sale of Roncancio's fine art collection. Chef Enrique Tinoco has planned a menu including lobster ravioli with jumbo shrimp and filet mignon with cognac sauce.

The cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m. Dinner is at 7 p.m., and live music starts at 8 p.m. The cost is $30 per person. Proceeds from the art sale and dinner benefit both charities.

To RSVP for this event, call 385-7300.
