The National Weather Service issued an excessive heat warning this week for the Las Vegas Valley, starting at 11 a.m. Wednesday and lasting until 11 p.m. July 8.
A couple of isolated showers are expected on Saturday and temps rise to the 90s for Mother’s day.
Expect partly cloudy skies Thursday with highs around 59 degrees with lows around 40 degrees at night.
