The food program “Delivering with Dignity” pairs up with independently owned restaurants in Las Vegas to bring high-quality meals to high-risk individuals facing food insecurity during the pandemic. Valencian Gold, a restaurant partnered with the program, has already cooked 9,500 meals over the last three months.

The demonstrators were protesting the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody. Similar protests have broken out across the U.S. Review-Journal photographer Ellen Schmidt was arrested, along with photographer and former Review-Journal employee Bridget Bennett. Both were booked into the Clark County Detention Center and face misdemeanor charges.
