Laxalt Discusses his Education Plan and Why he Won’t Repeal the Commerce Tax

Nevada education needs more money combined with accountability, but it’s too early to promise funding for Education Savings Accounts. There also isn’t a way to repeal the commerce tax next legislative session and a gubernatorial debate isn’t happening after Steve Sisolak rejected an invitation to debate on statewide TV. That’s according to Republican gubernatorial candidate and current Nevada attorney general Adam Laxalt.

Kyle Graham shines for Arbor View

Arbor View senior running back Kyle Graham grew up playing offensive line, and earned the nickname “Bubba” in wake of a chunky physique. He hit a growth spurt in middle school and transitioned to running back, the position he’s played the last several years. Graham transferred from Shadow Ridge to Arbor View, and enrolled in the school’s bio-medical program. He has a 4.0 GPA and wants to work in sports medicine. He made his varsity football debut last season, rushing for 634 yards in a complimentary role. Graham is Arbor View’s feature back this year, and leads the area with 1,282 rushing yards in eight games.
