Chapman parts director key to national ranking

Jeff Froehlich, parts director for Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and Chapman Chrysler Jeep , knows it pays to be a morning person. Arriving at the office at 5:45 each morning, which often includes Saturdays, Froehlich oversees one of the largest volume automotive parts stores in the nation.

Employee marks 54 years as part of Gaudin Ford

Despite not sharing the same last name, you can’t think of the Gaudin family without thinking of Kersh Miller. The current fleet manager at Gaudin Ford has been part of the family-owned and operated dealership for 54 of its 86 years. In fact, founder George Gaudin personally hired Miller.

Green vehicle technology celebrated

GreenFest 2013 celebrated Earth Day in April by showcasing a Green Vehicle & Tech Zone on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Green vehicles included cars with electric motors such as a Tesla Motors Model S, Ford C-Max hybrid, Ford Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid, Nissan Leaf and Chevrolet Volt. The exhibit also included vehicles powered by compressed natural gas, or CNG: a Honda Civic, a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD truck from Southwest Gas Corp., and a mechanized trash collection truck from Republic Services.
