President Barack Obama was among those who congratulated the Class of 2009 at the Andre Agassi Prep Academy.

The president sent a letter of appreciation to the first graduating class of the charter school near Martin Luther King and Lake Mead boulevards.

School founder Andre Agassi and the staff were also praised for their service and dedication.
