CityCenter has received three Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) Gold Certifications from the U.S. Green Building Council, more than three months before the $8.5 billion development opens. The certification means the 4,004-room Aria Resort & Casino, CityCenter’s centerpiece, will be the largest LEED certified green building in the world. LEED certification also was given to Aria’s convention center and theater and the 1,500-room Vdara Hotel. Aria and Vdara open in December.
