Johnny Sauter (No. 13, rear left) won his first race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series tonight when he beat teammate Matt Crafton by 2.474 seconds in the Las Vegas 350k at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Jason White finished third and was followed across the finish line by Todd Bodine, Timothy Peters, Ron Hornaday Jr., Mike Skinner, Aric Almirola, Brian Ickler and Tayler Malsam.

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Austyn Carta-Samuels went 24 of 37 and threw three touchdown passes in his first start to help Wyoming (2-2, 1-0 Mountain West) beat UNLV 30-27 today in the Mountain West Conference opener for both teams. The Rebels (2-2, 0-1) have dropped 20 consecutive conference road games.
