Robert Eglet, the attorney who won a state record $505 million verdict in May in the first trial related to the 2008 hepatitis outbreak in Las Vegas, has been named a “Lawyer of the Year” by Lawyers USA.
Las Vegas police arrested Cameron Thomas, 27, a former day care employee, Wednesday on charges of sexual assault against two girls. He is being held at the Regional Justice Center without bail pending a court appearance today.
