The Cromwell, a new Strip property owned by Caesars Entertainment, will fill more than 1,000 open positions at hiring events throughout March as it prepares for its opening on Memorial Day weekend.

RadioShack plans to close up to 1,100 U.S. stores

RadioShack said Tuesday that it plans to close up to 1,100 stores, or about a fifth of its U.S. locations. The news came as the retailer reported a wider quarterly loss after a disappointing holiday season.
