Everything’s bigger here. Through Saturday, CONEXPO-CON/AGG takes up 2.5 million square feet, or every available inch of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Produced by the Association of Equipment Manufacturing, the show is expecting about 125,000 attendees who will create an estimated nongaming economic impact of $157.3 million to the city, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

Man shot by Las Vegas police identified

A man shot and wounded by Las Vegas police after two failed robberies Monday was identified on Tuesday. Julio Estrada-Lopez was arrested on several felony charges, including attempted robbery, assault on a protected person, burglary and attempted grand larceny auto, according to Metro records.
