Man kills father, stabs mother for not bringing him fast food, police say

A man is facing charges in Louisiana after stabbing his parents when they did not include him in a fast-food order. 

Ronald Pritchett, 32, of Mississippi, was visiting his parents in their Lousiana home on Thanksgiving Day when an argument broke out regarding their meal. 

After the argument, Pritchett grabbed a knife and broke down the door to his parents' bedroom stabbing his father, Percival Pritchett, 58, and his mother, Renta, 57. 

According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, Pritchett's father received multiple stab wounds to the chest and was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital. His mother suffered nonlife-threatening injuries. 

Pritchettt fled in his father's Chevrolet Suburban but was arrested later at his home. 

According to NBC News, he faces one count each of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder and auto theft.
