Vegas is one of the best cities for Valentine’s Day if you’re single
Not only is Las Vegas one of the best places to get married, but it's also a pretty good place to be on Valentine's Day if you're single.
According to a survey by travel website Expedia dubbed the "Heat Index," Las Vegas is one of the best cities in the world for singles to be and be seen on the holiday.
Expedia's survey asked 1,027 people from the U.S. a range of romance-related questions, including which cities offer the most attractive dating populations, which destinations are most romantic and how often they have started or ended love affairs while traveling.
Based on the results, Las Vegas was the third most-popular destination for spending Valentine's Day when you're single — falling only behind Paris and New York.
After New York and Los Angeles, Las Vegas was also ranked as the third best city for singles to live.
Las Vegas may have had four restaurants rank among America's most romantic in a survey by OpenTable, but the city isn't one of the most romantic overall. When asked to select the most romantic cities from a list of global destinations, 69 percent of Americans picked Paris as the winner.
Las Vegas was also listed as the sixth "sexiest" city in the world, but really, we all know that's Henderson.
