Planet sales agent hooked on Hyundai

When you’re in the car business, the ultimate formula for a sales agent is to believe in the product so much that he or she actually owns the model.

A veteran airman, the 24 year-old native of Illinois moved to Las Vegas as a military transfer. He first purchased a 2012 Hyundai Genesis before deciding that the Azera would fit his needs as a newlywed.

Although the Azera is 2w years old, you wouldn’t know it. The Azera hasn’t changed much in that time, and Drought is happy with the horsepower, the handling, and the rest.

“The leg room and interior is more than you many times find in an SUV,” Drought said. “It’s also more affordable and that’s exactly why I purchased it. With 295 horsepower, there’s plenty of power, and I get 30 miles to the gallon on the highway.

“The only car I would buy now is a Hyundai because you cannot beat the warranty and the quality for the money.”

Drought is looking at a 2015 Sonata.

“The new Sonatas now have as much room as my Azera,” he said. “The Sonata is such a great car and considering my history with the Hyundai, I simply cannot imagine owning anything else.”

The Sonata and the Elantra are the top-selling cars at the dealership, which is located at 7150 W. Sahara Ave.

“It’s a toss-up between the Sonata and the Elantra,” Drought said. “They both sell not long after they’re delivered. The entry level Sonata and Elantra both sell very quickly.”
