Man found shot dead on sidewalk identified

The man who was shot and killed Wednesday night in the central valley was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Emanuel Guadalupe Acosta, 36, died from a gunshot wound to the chest, the coroner said.

Officers found Acosta near a sidewalk when they responded to a call reporting gunfire on the northeast corner of Fremont Street and Eastern Avenue, police said.

Police said they were looking for three men in their early 20s seen leaving the scene, one of them on a bicycle.
