LETTERS: Henderson Pavilion a drain on taxpayers

To the editor:

Can anyone tell me why the Henderson Pavilion, a multimillion-dollar structure, sits vacant more than 95 percent of the time? If the city of Henderson can’t figure out how to utilize a taxpayer-funded facility, perhaps it should lease or sell it to someone who can.

As I remember, the last time the Madonna bra-like tent portion of the structure tore, it cost the taxpayers almost $100,000 to replace. Good thinking to put a tent in the middle of a high-wind desert environment.
