Ryland Homes celebrates the summer

The kids are out of school, the weather is warm and the air is filled with sights and smells of summer. Whether your summer is filled with barbecues and pool parties or fun indoor activities, they all start in one central place: home.

This month, Ryland Homes is celebrating everything that makes summer great with its new “Inside Out” event. During the promotion, new Ryland homebuyers can receive up to $5,000 for options including backyard landscaping and ceiling fans inside their new homes.

“This is a great value on homes that are already priced well, with many communities starting in the high $100,000s,” said Desiree Van Leer, marketing manager for Ryland Homes’ Southern Nevada division. “Extra money toward options like landscaping and ceiling fans could go a long way.”

According to Van Leer, landscaping and ceiling fans are important splurges that new homebuyers don’t always make.

“And backyard landscaping is something many homeowners put off. Now you can have it done right away with our Inside Out event and move in with your home ready for a backyard barbecue,” she said.

Ryland Homes is building neighborhoods across Southern Nevada, with communities in Henderson, the southwest, the northwest and North Las Vegas. Prices at many Ryland neighborhoods start at less than $200,000.

“In many cases our homebuyers say they were able to become homeowners for about the same monthly costs they are paying in rent,” Van Leer said.

Among Ryland’s popular Southern Nevada neighborhoods are Indigo at Hillside near Summerlin and Quintessa in southwest Las Vegas.

Indigo at Hillside is near the Lone Mountain range above Cheyenne Avenue and the 215 Beltway. It offers four three-story floor plans including the new Midnight plan, which measures 2,287 square feet and has as many as four bedrooms, as many as three baths and a bonus room. This home also includes the option to build dual master suites. Every home in the neighborhood includes Ryland’s signature rooftop decks. Each home offers options (per plan) including dual master bedrooms, kitchen islands, Internet centers and wine cellars.

“Imagine walking out your front door to go hiking on Lone Mountain, or having picnics on the roof under the stars,” said sales agent Bethann Frusco-Dumont.

Homes at Indigo at Hillside range in size from 2,037 to 2,287 square feet with as many as four bedrooms. The neighborhood, which is not in a master plan, offers many of its own community amenities including a community park, basketball court, swimming pool, playground and barbecue area. Scenic walking trails are also outside Indigo’s gates.

Quintessa is a gated neighborhood in the Mountain’s Edge master plan that includes several luxury amenities exclusively for residents. Quintessa residents enjoy their own large community pool with beach-style entry, hot tub, showers and bathrooms in the pool area, a barbecue area with grills and table seating and two putting greens for golfers of all skill levels.

“Quintessa even gives residents a full fitness center where they can not only exercise, but socialize and get to know their fellow neighbors,” sales agent Mara Glaser said.

All of Quintessa’s two-story homes have the option for one of Ryland’s signature rooftop decks, which are standard features on all three-story homes in the neighborhood.

“If you have been thinking of buying a new home this summer, now is a great time,” Van Leer said. “During our Inside Out event, you can have up to $5,000 extra for backyard landscaping and indoor ceiling fans … to help make your home the relaxing retreat you’ve always wanted.”

Quintessa’s sales office is at 10485 Asana St. To visit, take Blue Diamond Road west to Buffalo Road. Head south on Buffalo Road and east on Cactus Avenue. Turn left on Singing Rock Street, right on Acopa Avenue and right on Asana Avenue to the community on the right. For more information, call the sales office at 702-912-4281.

Indigo at Hillside is up above the main elevation of Las Vegas near Cheyenne Avenue and the west I-215 Beltway. The sales office is at 10537 Rainwater Drive. To visit the community and tour the models, take U.S. Highway 95 north and head west on Summerlin Parkway. Turn right onto the I-215 Beltway, heading north and exit Cheyenne Avenue heading west.
