Here are a few pop culture tidbits that caught our eye last week.

■ A portion of U.S. Highway 95 is shut down because of an ice-cream truck rollover. First responders are surprised to learn that hazmat protocols for an ice-cream spill involve large wooden shovels and several truckloads of jimmies.

■ Las Vegas strip club The Horse might be the setting for a new reality series. No good can come from associating with such a sleazy business, so back out now with your reputation still unsullied, Horse.

The Obamas increase their family by one with the adoption of Sunny ▶, their second Portuguese water dog. Fox News commentators immediately attack Obama for giving the job to a foreign worker.
