Workplace contest deadline extended to Sept. 20

Does your workplace have the right stuff to win the coveted Top Workplace award? The Las Vegas Review-Journal and the Las Vegas Business Press are extending the deadline for nominations from companies in Clark and Nye counties to Sept. 20.

All companies with 35 or more workers in those two counties are invited to participate. WorkplaceDynamics, a suburban Philadelphia company, is partnering with the Review-Journal and Business Press on the Top Workplace program.

It’s simple — just fill out a short 22-statement employee survey.

And it won’t even cost you a dime if you use online surveys (with company emails). Paper surveys are available in English and Spanish and cost $1.75 each.

To nominate your company, log onto www.lvrj.com/nominate. To sign up your company, log onto www.topworkplaces.com/frontend.php/regional-list/signup/start/lvrj. Phone nominations can be submitted by calling 702-628-9874.

WorkplaceDynamics will evaluate surveys in three separate categories — large, midsize and small workplaces. Last year, WorkplaceDynamics contacted more than 800 businesses and surveyed 42 that agreed to participate.

The workplaces can be private, nonprofit, government or public.

The winners will be named in a special section that will be published in February 2014.

WorkplaceDynamics has already invited close to 300 companies to participate.
