In case you missed it: Canadian drive-by
A Canadian motorcyclist seems to be doing his best to restore the world’s faith in humanity.
Helmet cam footage posted to YouTube late last week and titled “How We Do A Drive-By in Canada” shows a motorcyclist riding down a street before noticing a woman whose wheelchair appeared to be stuck.
The motorcyclist made a U-turn and doubled back to see if the woman needed help.
“Are you stuck? I saw you,” the motorcyclist says. He tries to pull the woman’s wheelchair backward onto the sidewalk, to no avail.
“Let me go this way, then … there you go,” he says, finally freeing the woman and telling her to watch for the car behind her.
Without another word, the motorcyclist returned to his bike and left, as the woman continued on down the sidewalk.
“This is not meant to toot my own horn, but to encourage people to take a moment to help out when an opportunity presents itself,” the motorcyclist posted in the video’s description.
