■ HIGHLIGHTS: At West Sacramento, Calif., Collin Cowgill’s three-run home run in the seventh inning, his first of the season, helped the 51s snap their three-game losing streak. ... Shortstop Omar Quintanilla gave the 51s a 2-0 lead in the second inning on a two-run double. He also added a single in the seventh. ... Left fielder Eric Campbell also had a pair of hits for the 51s (14-15). ... Starter Zack Wheeler turned in six shutout innings, holding the River Cats to three hits while striking out four and walking one.
