Northbound Interstate 215 reopens

The Northbound lanes on Interstate 215 have reopened after being shut down this afternoon by an accident, the Nevada Highway Patrol said Monday night.

The highway was closed between Lone Mountain Road and Cheyenne Avenue, according to the Regional Transportation Commission.

The Highway Patrol described the accident as a three-car, head-on collision near Lone Mountain. One person was transported to University Medical Center with injuries that aren't life-threatening.

All lanes opened about 7 p.m.
