North Las Vegas home damaged by fire
A single-story house caught fire early Friday morning in North Las Vegas, but nobody was home at the time, city fire officials said.
The house, at 612 Casa Del Norte, sustained heavy smoke damage from the 12:53 a.m. blaze.
Preliminary estimates of damage are $259,000, according to the Fire Department.
About 30 firefighters responded to the fire, and it was put out in six minutes, the report states.
The cause was under investigation..
